Avalanche Athletic

From the moment I heard Run DNA, I was obsessed with The Avalanches, I bought a shirt that said 'Avalanche Athletic' and I wore it till it literally fell apart. It's been way too long and their second album is about to be released. Another artist I enjoy is Toro Y Moi. 'If I Was a Folkstar' was released overnight and is a great collaboration between the two. I can't wait for the whole album to come out and fill this world with amazing sounds.

Classic

I love unique classic surf culture. My dream is to one day open a store that provides a whole experience for a surfer, from clothes, to boards to music and everything that goes with the lifestyle. I would stock different brands that are more off the beaten path and hopefully create my own line. One of those brands I would love to see in my store would be Mollusk. So simple. Delicious.

Beastie Boys

The Beastie Boys are amazing. Plain and simple. Their music grew as they did and change throughout the years. I can't put my finger on a favourite album but Aglio E Olio, Paul's Boutique and Hello Nasty are my top 3 and a great example of their range of music.

I was recently sent this site that contains every sample used on their albums. It is simply amazing! 17 samples were used on Shake Your Rump!
